Professional Experience

Todd Vandervort has an extensive background in public accounting. He gained invaluable experience working as an CPA for the big four firm of Ernst & Young LLP in San Diego, CA. Todd served many start up clients within various industries. He is familiar with the hard work necessary to build a successful business. Todd has also worked as a senior financial analyst and finance manager for two very successful publicly traded Carlsbad companies.

Todd’s Experience includes preparation of financial statements, monitoring and improving cash flows, reducing costs, keeping the books in tip top shape, preparing tax returns for employee retirement plans and small businesses and helping individuals with personal tax planning.

Throughout all of Todd’s professional experience he has gained the respect of top notch CFOs, business owners and accounting staff.

Personal

Todd Vandervort is a 2nd generation native of San Diego. He graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelors of Accountancy degree, Magna Cum Laude. He received honors from the Accounting faculty for his undergraduate work. Todd and his family have resided in both Carlsbad and Oceanside for the past five years.
